DismantlingDismantling
To take down a whole tree or trees, by carefully removing it in sections, when felling the tree presents a risk of damage to other trees, property or injury to the public.
.
The removal of dead and dangerous trees in confined spaces and over obstructions and buildings is an exacting and specialised task and more common in domestic tree work. This is mainly due to having limited space to work with in gardens or grounds around homes and propertys.
The techniques can involve removing canopies and stem sections and by rope lowering to the groundstaff for processing. Another technique is to use a series of specialist cuts which enable the Arborist to drop smaller sections by hand to be processed by the groundstaff.
Rope access in most circumstances is the more convienient technique of gaining entry to the tree although not the safest. It is for this reason that when searching for a Tree Surgeon company, you make sure that your chosen companys staff hold the relevent qualifications and/or certificates of competence to legally carry out this type of work.
MEWP''s (Mobile Elevated Work Platform''s) are also used quite frequently depending on access in and around the worksite.
